In this summer in
Tottori, I was asked to teach this 8 years old pianist by her dad. I prepared
myself 10 min how to do.
She won No5. At Japan
classic piano competition.
I asked her to imagine,
colour, shape, any images in each sections. At first she seems a bit confused
but gradually she start discovering her own images of the music piece. And without
thinking too much about technical side, she try to play with the image again
and again, until reach the image she was inspired.
She enjoyed my approach
at the end. And later her mother said, there was someone taught her in the
similar way. Hope it helped her creative
play.

(8) Debussy Children's Corner Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum
この夏鳥取に訪問した際に8歳の女の子のピアノレッスンを頼まれ、準備する時間が１０分ほどしか無かったので急いで頭の中でアイデアを錬ってみました。
彼女は第23回全国大会 ピアノ部門で5位になった素晴らしいピアニスト
レッスンでは彼女に曲を大きく部類させて色、形、イメージを想像してもらいました。最初は混乱した様子でしたが、流石のピアニスト、すぐに自分なりに解釈して彼女のイメージを伝えてくれました。弾いていくうちにイメージはもっと細かく鮮明になり、表現豊かな弾き方に変わっていきました。
私のアプローチを気に入ってくれたようです。彼女のお母さんから後で聞いたのですが似たような教え方をした方が以前にもいたようです。彼女の創造性の手助けになっていたら幸いです。
