Barbican Centre - Pit バービカン・ピット＜遁世者 実験＞ 2013-02-02

バービカンセンター　https://www.barbican.org.uk　のPITにてTonseisha　Projectのワークショップを行う。

1週間に渡って、音、舞台、演技、役割、構成などと実験をした。衣装、音を担当していた僕だがみな寛大なのでいろいろな舞台や構成の意見を言っても快く受け入れてくれた。

まるでロックバンドが壮大なマスターピースを作るように各楽器担当者がジャムセッションをしているようだった。

地下4階のモグラのような通路を潜ると大きな黒の空間にぼくらは体を使って色々な試みをする。

日本では考えられないと思うが年齢層の違うプロが肩を並べながら意見を交換していくのはとても美しい作業だと思う。

We did Tonseisha workshop at Pit in Barbican　https://www.barbican.org.uk

During a week, we tried to experiment of sound, setting, acting, role and structure.  My role was costume and sound, but as the other people in the team are so open-minded, they listened to my crazy ideas about setting and structures etc.

It was like we are a rock band trying to make a master piece, giving ideas and doing jam session.

We are deep underground of Barbican Centre, passing through mole’s tunnel, we reached to the black space, we use our bodies to test our ideas.

This will never happen in Japan. Different age group discussing the ideas together without using any ego and power(which you are just elder and have experiences). It is beautiful way of working with each other.
